Job Details

About the Company: A micro-uav systems developer seeking expertise in the technical and application areas described in this position. The role offers a focused setting for translating specialist knowledge into research, engineering or organizational outcomes.

Target Candidates: Bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in a relevant discipline; educational expectations vary by specialist role.

Responsibilities

•  System and aerodynamics: define micro-UAV parameters, configuration, mass and center of gravity, wind resistance, low-Reynolds-number aerodynamics and rotor/fixed-wing simulations.

•  Structures and power: design lightweight airframes, EMC solutions, miniature brushless motors, drives, gear trains, high-energy battery packs and BMS.

•  Flight control and navigation: develop helicopter control laws, attitude estimation, Kalman filtering, optical flow, visual SLAM, VIO, indoor obstacle avoidance and sensor fusion.

•  Avionics and communications: design compact avionics, high-density PCBs, data/video links, RF antennas, drivers, RTOS ports and protocol stacks.

•  Perception and software: integrate optical/thermal modules, target tracking, denoising, video compression, ground stations and data management.

•  Testing and quality: prepare flight-test plans, analyze flight data and perform temperature, vibration, shock, salt-spray and rain reliability tests.

Requirements

•  Bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in a relevant discipline; educational expectations vary by specialist role.

•  At least five years of engineering experience; eight years and volume-product development are preferred for system, flight-control and avionics leads.

•  Experience with relevant tools such as CFD, Fluent/STAR-CCM+, Maxwell/MotorCAD, FreeRTOS/RT-Thread, MAVLink, HFSS/CST/ADS or YOLO.

•  Strength in miniaturization, low power, dense integration, interference-resistant communications, edge computing, flight verification and rigorous quality practices.

Highlights & Support: Priority openings: systems, flight-control algorithms and hardware; additional openings in structures, motors and environmental-adaptation testing.
