Job Details
About the Company: A battery materials research institute seeking expertise in the technical and application areas described in this position. The role offers a focused setting for translating specialist knowledge into research, engineering or organizational outcomes.
Target Candidates: Master’s degree or above in Materials, Chemistry, Electrochemistry or Battery Engineering.
Responsibilities
• Design battery application tests for cathode/anode materials, binders, conductive agents and dispersants across power, storage and consumer cells.
• Evaluate processability, electrochemical behavior and compatibility to identify strengths, risks and failure mechanisms.
• Create evaluation protocols and test standards; correlate cell data and failure observations to root causes.
• Work with customers on processing, performance and stability issues and identify new-material needs.
• The position links formulation or process research with characterization, scale-up and application requirements. The project should be advanced using reproducible experiments, measurable material performance and clear records of processing conditions.
Requirements
• Master’s degree or above in Materials, Chemistry, Electrochemistry or Battery Engineering.
• Knowledge of lithium-battery raw materials, processing and failure mechanisms.
• Cell fabrication, electrochemical testing, data analysis and failure analysis; customer application support preferred.
• Candidates should analyze structure–property or process–performance relationships and communicate findings to research, production, quality and application teams.
Highlights & Support: Role connecting materials R&D, application verification and customer production needs.
