Job Details
About the Company: A battery materials research institute seeking expertise in the technical and application areas described in this position. The role offers a focused setting for translating specialist knowledge into research, engineering or organizational outcomes.
Target Candidates: Master’s or PhD in Materials, Polymer Chemistry, Electrochemistry or Energy Materials.
Responsibilities
• Develop binders, dispersants, conductive agents, lithium-replenishment additives, PI and solid-state battery functional materials.
• Design experiments and verify new materials in power, storage and consumer battery systems from lab to customer use.
• Optimize process parameters and material performance; resolve customer application issues and support bulk introduction.
• Prepare patents, technical reports and project documentation.
• The position links formulation or process research with characterization, scale-up and application requirements. The project should be advanced using reproducible experiments, measurable material performance and clear records of processing conditions.
• Translate the stated responsibilities into clear work plans, review interim results against project objectives, and communicate progress, technical risks and next steps to the relevant team. Carry lessons from testing or implementation into the following development cycle.
Requirements
• Master’s or PhD in Materials, Polymer Chemistry, Electrochemistry or Energy Materials.
• R&D in lithium materials, functional polymers, binders, PI or solid-state systems.
• Synthesis, formulation, characterization, electrochemical testing and industrial validation; publications, patents or customer introduction preferred.
• Candidates should analyze structure–property or process–performance relationships and communicate findings to research, production, quality and application teams.
Highlights & Support: R&D platform covering molecular design, development, application validation and industrial scale-up.
