Target Candidates: PhD in Vehicle, Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering or connector design.

Responsibilities

•  Lead new-product development and structural optimization for automotive connectors and connection modules.

•  Develop automation equipment and upgrade production lines for greater efficiency.

•  Improve connection reliability, process consistency and manufacturing integration through prototypes and validation.

•  Manage technical solutions, production introduction and customer issues.

•  The position follows automotive development from technical definition through validation and production or application readiness. Engineering decisions should reflect performance, durability, safety and coordination with the relevant vehicle or component system.

•  Translate the stated responsibilities into clear work plans, review interim results against project objectives, and communicate progress, technical risks and next steps to the relevant team. Carry lessons from testing or implementation into the following development cycle.

Requirements

•  PhD in Vehicle, Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering or connector design.

•  At least 10 years in automotive connector R&D or automotive-component automation; eight years at a leading components company preferred.

•  Connector development, automated-equipment introduction, process verification and quality control; candidates under 35 preferred in the source.

•  Candidates should be comfortable with structured validation, root-cause analysis and communication across design, testing, suppliers and manufacturing interfaces.
