Target Candidates: PhD and at least three years of relevant research after the degree at a leading institution or major corporate R&D organization, or associate-professor-equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

•  Lead independent research, project design, experiments, analysis and technical roadmaps.

•  Seek grants, build platforms and publish papers and patents with technology-transfer potential.

•  Support interdisciplinary collaboration and mentorship.

•  Develop a coherent research agenda, define tractable milestones and contribute to publications, intellectual property and appropriate research proposals. Share methods and results with collaborators while supporting the research platform and the development of junior researchers.

Requirements

•  PhD and at least three years of relevant research after the degree at a leading institution or major corporate R&D organization, or associate-professor-equivalent experience.

•  Research standing comparable to an outstanding associate-senior-level academic; age 40 or below.

•  Independent program delivery and strong scholarly output.

•  The appointment calls for independent scientific judgment, the ability to organize research work and a sustained record or clear potential for scholarly output. Experience mentoring students or coordinating collaborative projects is valuable where consistent with the seniority of the post.
