Job Details
About the Company: A technology company recruiting an R&D and technology management lead for embodied robotics, focused on industrial automation, automotive assembly, and embodied AI implementation scenarios.
Target Candidates: Senior technology-management professionals in robotics, embodied AI, industrial automation, autonomous driving, robotic arm control, and robot learning
Responsibilities
• Lead embodied robotics technology roadmaps, establishing an R&D system around robot system architecture, VLA models, robot learning, motion control, visual servoing, simulation training, and data closed-loop.
• Integrate automotive-assembly, industrial-site, and customer-delivery scenarios, driving robotics technology from algorithm validation through prototyping and productization to customer pilot deployment.
• Build a local US technical team, and establish technical review, R&D process, project retro, version management, and customer acceptance mechanisms.
• Collaborate at high frequency with Shanghai HQ and customer success, product, supply chain, and manufacturing teams — supporting cross-regional technology decisions and customer project delivery between China and the US.
Requirements
• Master's or PhD preferred, in Robotics, AI, Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Computer Vision, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 10+ years of R&D experience in robotics, autonomous driving, industrial automation, robotic arm control, or embodied AI; experience in 0-to-1 breakthroughs or 1-to-10 product replication is preferred.
• Familiar with robot bodies, system architecture, motion control, visual perception, industrial on-site integration, and customer project delivery; pure-algorithm or pure-hardware backgrounds must have cross-system landing capability.
• Team management, cross-cultural communication, customer service awareness, and entrepreneurial drive — able to embrace ambiguity and China-US cross-time-zone collaboration.
Highlights & Support: A technical leadership role with global and US-localization value, negotiable on authorization scope, equity incentives, technical challenges, and US market opportunities.
